What is Small Group Personal Training?

Small group personal training combines the personalized attention of a personal trainer with the motivation & camaraderie of a group setting. Typically, groups consist of 4-8 people, allowing for tailored workouts & close attention from myself, your coach.

What are the benefits of Small Group PT?

Increased motivation & accountability: The group dynamic encourages you to push harder & stay committed.

Cost-effective: Small group training is more affordable than one-on-one personal training, yet you still receive individualized attention.

What types of clients do you typically work with?

I welcome clients of all ages and fitness levels, from high school students to those in their 70s. I believe athleticism and performance have no age limit! My approach is to listen to your body, understand your goals, and create a personalized plan that works for you.

What is your cancellation policy?

No contracts with me (yet), but I do prefer a 30-day heads up!

What types of workouts do you offer?

Strength & conditioning is my specialty but performance doesn’t stop there.  We train everything from raw strength, to explosive power, to muscle growth for look, agility, stability, balance & mobility is always worked in as well!  No matter your age, if you train with me, we are working it all (at your pace)!

How do you tailor workouts for different fitness levels?

Everyone starts somewhere! Your workouts will be customized to your current fitness level & goals. We'll begin with foundational movements & gradually progress to more challenging exercises, always prioritizing proper form & technique.
 

Modifications may include:

  • Exercise variations to suit your abilities and available equipment.

  • Weight selection that challenges you safely.

  • Rest periods tailored to your fitness level.

  • Tempo adjustments to target specific fitness goals.
     

My priority is to ensure a safe, effective, & enjoyable training session that leaves your DRAINED but empowered to reach your full potential.  

What should I wear & bring to the sessions?

Dress comfortably and weather-appropriate.  For bottoms; shorts, leggings, joggers, etc.  Tops; tank tops, cut-offs, t-shirts, etc.
Wear shoes suitable for running and jumping that fit properly. Please avoid wearing dirty or muddy shoes.

Where do you hold your training sessions?

I have a private training facility at my home in Orangefield.  This is a 1,200 sq ft fully equipped gym with plenty of traditional & functional gym equipment! 

Do you offer any specials or discounts?

Yes, I offer discounts for nurses, teachers, school staff, & military personnel.
